My Trees

I think I counted my trees on this lot, and I have around 50 or 60. My last property had over 300, and I was able to burn tree debris. Now I have to take it to the dump, which is ok too, considering green waste dumping is free for  Pitt Meadows residents.

So just to get my motor-home and boat in the driveway, I removed the tree in the front yard including the root, I had to trim back all the massive trees on the carport side (east) and as time allowed I took out as many of the small ones and easy ones in that area as I could.

Now I had to trim all the perimeter trees from the ground up to about 12' so I could put in a fence, this actually all took a long time and I became a regular at the dump. Each trip I would fill the back of my truck and my trailer. Sometimes my trailer would be overflowing to the sides and certainly higher than most would pile.

All the trees where the new garage is going to go need to come down, I have removed about half of them, those were the easy ones, well except for one that did get way to close to the neighbors roof, only because I got cocky and did not want to pull it standing in the muddy area where it needed to go, so I pulled it from the grassy area and it then fell in the wrong direction. The next set are all touching the power-line to the house so I will have a friend pulling while I cut, should be interesting.

Later when the garage is built I do plan to take out the whole line of massive tress on the carport side (east), roots too, grade the area and plant new cedars. I also plan on taking out the massive trees in my backyard leaving tree trunks only, on some of these will be the base of the new playground.

All these trees are so close to the house, the entire property is covered in tree debris, the driveway is heaved and ruined because of massive roots, so they can all go as far as I am concerned. I will plant new ones and keep them pruned.
